Student Abstract and Poster Session

Early Accessible Papers
- AAAI-15 is interested in identifying a small number of papers that make good reading material for people with a general background knowledge of artificial intelligence but no detailed knowledge of the subarea covered in the paper. Authors of such papers will meet at AAAI-15 with students interested in their papers.
- We will post information on such papers once they are accepted and we will solicit student interests then.

Breakfast with Champions: A Women's Mentoring Event
- AAAI is holding an inaugural women's mentoring event for women students to meet with senior women in CS/AI. Breakfast with Champions will be Wednesday morning, January 28, 2015. This event follows on the successful footsteps of the Doctoral Consortium Mentoring program. If you are a female student who is interested in joining us, please apply by checking the box on the registration form. Attendance is limited to the first 30 applicants. There is a $10 registration fee for attendees to help cover a portion of the event costs. If this fee would prevent you from attending, please contact the organizers directly (amcgovern@ou.edu).

Student Dining Opportunities
- A student coordinator will be organizing informal opportunities for students to eat together for lunches and dinners at various casual restaurants near the conference venue. Students will be expected to pay for their own meals. Some groups will be available based on research or career interests, while others will be general groups. Additional information will be available as the conference approaches.
- Additionally, a bar outing will be organized for Thursday evening. Everyone 21 is welcome to attend. More information will be available closer to the conference.

Research Speed Dating
- Come get to know other researchers! Event will be held at the conference hotel prior to busses for the opening reception. (Food will be saved at the opening reception for those attending the speed dating event first.)

Travel

Student Volunteer Program
- The Student Scholar Program provides partial travel support for students who:
- are full-time undergraduate or graduate students at colleges and universities
- are members of AAAI
- submit papers to the conference program or letters of recommendation from their faculty advisor
- submit scholarship applications to AAAI by November 17, 2014.
- Repeat scholarship applicants must have fulfilled the volunteer and reporting requirements for previous awards.

Roommate Pairing Service
- Need to find a roommate? Fill up this form, and we will match students up based on their constraints and preferences.
- Deadline: December 15. We will pair you up as applications come in and will finalize all pairings by the deadline.
