The United Technologies Research Center is the central research organization for United Technologies Corporation, a Fortune top 50 company. UTC is a dynamic global corporation operating at the leading edge of commercial and military aviation, aerospace systems, climate control, elevator design, and security and fire protection.

UTRC is developing a research group to study, develop, and transition relevant AI technologies for autonomous systems and robotics. Topics of interest include reasoning under uncertainty and over time, sequential decision making, learning, perception, mobility and manipulation. Of particular interest are applications where humans perform tasks interactively with autonomous agents including robots. Such systems are expected to become pervasive across a broad spectrum of applications in which United Technologies businesses are engaged.

Researchers in the general areas of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and related autonomy disciplines are sought.
