Notes for prospective students
I currently have funding for students and will be evaluating applications, but I receive too many e-mails to respond individually. I generally respond to all e-mails received in batches in mid-November or early December, but some messages get sent to junk automatically, so I don't see them.
If you are truly interested in working with me (and not mass e-mailing professors), please begin your e-mail with the statement: "THIS IS A PERSONAL E-MAIL SENT ONLY TO YOU." While I can't guarantee a faster response this way, I will do my best to prioritize responding to such e-mails when I receive them.
